One of the greatest strengths of Consultants F. Drapeau Inc. is our service. We emphasize in-house service because we have on hand the tools, the replacement parts and the qualified labour to do the job efficiently and minimize any loss to your equipment. We also offer an on-road emergency service.
Operating hours at our plant are:
Monday to Friday: 7:30am to 6:00pm
Saturday: 7:30am to noon
Our customers are of the highest importance to us and we will do everything necessary to offer the best service available.
Repair and fabrication
Whether for a telescopic crane, a tower crane, a traditional crane, intermediate section, a jib, a man-basket or cabins of all makes and models, we can fabricate or repair in compliance with the original manufacturer’s standards.
Our work is supervised by our engineering team and conforms to Acnor-Z150 Code. We are accredited and certified by the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) in accordance with Code CSA W47.1.

Certification
Contributors for the last several years to the enhancement of the level of security of lifting apparatus, we have elaborated an annual maintenance program.
This program is designed to conform to the requirements of code Z150-98 of the Mobile Crane Security Code and consists of an in-depth verification of the following points :
- Visual examination of welds on the overall crane in compliance with Code CSA W59 under the supervision of a certified technician;
- Non-destructive trials on critical zones or zones presenting irregularities;
- Ultrasound examination of axes;
- Examination of all structural elements accessible on the crane (sections, winch, pulley, hooks, outriggers, frame, cables, etc.);
- Examination of the security mechanism (ATB, LMI);
- Replacement of fluids (winch, rotation gearbox);
- Loaded lift trial.
All our inspections are supervised and approved by an engineer and followed by a sealed conformity report. Our expertise in the field is your best guarantee.
